THE DRAGONS OF WYE-TEN PUPPET THEATRE We are a family run puppet theatre who offer a wide range of performance packages suitable for large events, carnivals, and festivals, along with any form of celebrations big or small, inside or out. We specialise in Medieval and Ethereal themes full of dragons and knights, sword fights and jousting, princesses needing rescueing and castles to be rescued, retelling some of the oldest tales ever told plus new stories from our own writing team. Our puppets are our own design, the main characters are the dragons who are between 3' and 6’ long, with leather scaled skins to be very tactile and give them a very life-like appearance. We also have a supporting cast of various other characters. Our stages We are able to offer a fully authentic Medieval Puppet experience with our new stage based on 14c illustrations or other shows from our three other stages, 17th centuary, 21st centuary and our tiny space stage in a traditional 19th century style.Our puppeteers dress in costume for all the hours of opening. We have a long association with medieval historians and re-enactors, along with other more theatrical organisations, so have a wide range of costumes, both authentic medieval, etherial and theatrical.Our Shows - Full Puppet Theatre DaySuitable for larger events and festivalsTwo full puppet shows on stage and an hour long walkabout meeting and greeting visitors, allowing them to pet the dragons.f
